Indirect Proportion
As one quantity increases, the other decreases . e.g. Speed and Time. The faster you travel, the less time the journey takes. The formula for indirect proportion is y = k/x. K is the constant of proportionality. This can also be written as xy=k

Middle value when written in order. If there are two middle values e.g. 3 and 7 add together and divide by 2 to find the median

Add all values together, then divide by the total number of values

Difference between the largest and the smallest numbers

Discrete Data
Has definite values with no inbetweens. It could be a number or category e.g. hair colour,number of pets.

Has infinite values. Usually needs to be measured, e.g. time taken to get to school or height.
