First and Last similar, Middle contrasting (Cyclical structure) (7) 4. A composition in which two sections do not need to be an equal length, first and second section contrast each other however both need to show the same theme or clear actions. (6) 5. Each sections develops from the one before so that the end cannot be predicted. Although the end and beginning should be different they should still contain the same idea. (5, 3, 9) 7. Complex and Challenging form. Movement phases from earlier are interwoven. Builds climax towards end of the dance. (5) Down 2. Musical Form. Chorus remains the same but melody of each verse is different. Ie: 'Musical Story' (5) 3. The theme or story line unfolds a section at a time. (9) 6. Has a circular feeling which ultimately links back around to the beginning. (5)
