6. Why is it good to use plastics?

• Alternatives may be costly to resource and invest in, food can be vaccum sealed (to increase hygiene levels), very cheap to manufacture, has many uses other substances cant do
• Don't compose easily, less and less landfils, plastics can not be continuously recycled, some plastics can not be recycled at oil, they come from crude oil which is a non renewable source
