1 of 9
What happens in the Ribosomes?
Proteins are made.
2 of 9
What parts does a Yeast cell have?
Cytoplasm,cell wall,cell membrane , nucleus.
3 of 9
What parts does a Bacterial cell have? What is missing?
It contains a cell membrane, cell wall, cytoplasm. It is missing a nucleus. All the gentic material of the cell floats in the cytoplasm.
4 of 9
What are Chloroplasts?
Contains chlorophyll; a green substance found in Plant cells. It is used to make food for the plant, via photosynthesis. Photosynthesis takes place here.
5 of 9
What happens in the Mitochondria?
This is where Respiration takes place. Respiration releases energy that the cell needs to work.
6 of 9
What is the function of Cytoplasm?
This is where most chemical reactions happen. It contains enzymes which control these chemical reactions.
7 of 9
What is the function of a Cell wall?
Made up of cellulose. It supports and strengthens the cell.
