CBT for Schizophrenia STRENGTH- Zimmerman et al (2005)
Found that CBT for schizophrenia is useful alongside drug treatment for people in an acute phase of schizophrenia.

Used a CBT intervention and found 10/12 patients were less convicted in their beliefs, and 5/12 rejected the delusions altogether.

CBT for schizophrenia only really works on those who have positive symptoms, as it works to challenge those beliefs, as opposed to negative symptoms as it can't solve poverty of speech.
