when the blood pressure is at its highest when the heart beats and contracts pumping blood

Benign: a type of tumour where the cells wont change place, they arent to big of a problem, they can be removed, Malignant:tumours that damage the tissue in the skin, they are the cancer forms

what is plasmodium?
the pathogen that causes the disease malaria it is a protozoa

an organism that passes of a parasite from one person/ animal to another.

what is phagoctosis and Lymphocytes?
Phagocytosis= process of the phagocytes engulfing bacteria and releasing enzymes to kill them, Lymphocytes= provide better defence has ntigens and antibodies, antigens destroy them

what is active immunity and passive immunity?
active= body produces own antibodies in response to infection, passive= body recieves antibodies from another source.

What is meant by blind and double blind types?
blind: when the patient do not know whether they are having the real or fake drug, double blind:where the doctor and patients do not know

a junction between two neurones across which electrical signals pass.

What is vasoconstriction?
blood vessels constrict to keep warmth in.

when it is too hot the blood goes closer to the skin and blood vessels get bigger causing you to go red.

pancreas stops producing insulin, pancreas produces glucogen, glucogen breaks down glycogen

pancreas produces more insulin, insulin takes extra glucose from blood and gonverts into glycogen
