Work in small chunks of around 30 mins, never cram revision at night, it may lower your grade. 1 of 9 How should we have a revision routine ? Work at specific time - having a routine with a timetable. This helps your brain !!! 2 of 9 What should we do instead of over reading ? Don't over read using a highlighter. Be active e.g. flashcards as memory reinforcements. 3 of 9 What should you do if you don't understand a set of work ? Have a specific goal of what you want to achieve or cover. 4 of 9 What should you do apart from learning it ? Teach it - don't just learn it. Teach the concept or topic to a friend or relative. 5 of 9 What should you do while you revise ? Practise - Practice by actively testing yourself and identify gaps in knowledge. 6 of 9 What kind of workspace should you have ? Have a designated workspace with all of your stationary at hand. 7 of 9 Why should you not listen to music while revising ? No music, in some studies show classical music can help but others show background music distract you. 8 of 9 What should you do with your mobile phone while revising ?
