·        Change and continuity-change four humours couldn’t be used again to find out certain diseases, and lots more ideas about the causes of disease. Continuity still used remedies and cures from earlier times and scientists still believed that miasma causes disease. 

·         Diagnosis- was a key change during the renaissance period the rise of humanism.

·        Communications-there was an improvement in literacy this meant people were able to read and write better this also meant people’s ideas were able to be spread further.

·        Vesalius-discovered the human body he became famous in 1533 and he shared his discovery’s with the world. He criticised Galen

·        Harvey-discovered blood and he dissected humans and cold blooded animals.
