The Kapp Putsch

A Putsch is a sudden armed uprising or political revolt.

Wolfgang Kapp was the leader of the Freikorp units that declared a new national government in Berlin.

Kapp carried out a putsch by marching into Berlin with the Freikorps and the army did not stop them. He did it because he did not want the government to dosband the unofficial forces and they were angry that he signed the treaty of versailles.
