A movement in the arts and literature which originated in late 18th century emphasizing inspiration, subjectivity and primacy of the individual.

Romanticism describes developments in arts, literature and music in late 18th and early 19th century. Romantic ideas focus on the power of nature, imagination, revolution and world of children aswell as lives of people marginalized of society. Romantic poems include Wordsworth, Keats, Shelly, Blake and Byron.
