What is conformity?

Conformity is: ' A change in behavior or belief as a result of real or imagined group pressure '

What is social influence?

Social influence is: ' A process by which an individuals attitudes,  beliefs or behaviors are modified by the presence or actions of others. ' 


Three types of conformity - KELMAN 
 

1) Compliance 
- conforming to the behavior or views of others in a group but privately maintaining their own view. 

Example: You are with a group of friends that support Liverpool, you agree & support Liverpool with them as you are afraid they will disown you as a friend if you don't. However, when you are on
