Mazarin domestic policy

Introduction

Becuase of the regency and minority, royal power was weak, and Mazarins domestic policy helped strengthen power. He also crushed all of the Frondeurs which included putting Parlement in their place. Whenever he had the chance he would parade Louis to remind France of their king. However, the harsh taxes imposed where never lifted and the corruption never fixed, leaving the crown in huge debt. Despite this, he still worked extremley hard and was dedicated to domestic policy
