  • Triglycerides are made from a glycerol molecule and three fatty acid molecules. It is not a repeating unit and so has no monomers.

  • Glycolipid is a lipids molecule that has a polysaccharides chain attached to it. They are found on the surface of the cell membrane. They can be used as receptor molecules, for example allowing cell recognition from our own white blood cells.
