FORMATION OF ADVERBS FROM ADJECTIVES-

1. Most adverbs in Italian are formed by adding -mente to the feminine form of the adjective

eg. fortuno - fortuna =  fortunamente 

2. Adjectives ending in -le and -re drop the final -e then add -mente

eg. facile = facilmente 

ADVERBS OF DEGREE

abbastanza- quite, fairly
affatto- (not) at all
assai- verry
cosi- so/in this way
meno- less
molto-very
piu- more
poco- little, not very
tanto- so/so much
troppo- too (much)

 adesso- now
allora- then, at…
