There has been a link with aggression testosterone. 2 ways we know this is by carrying out research on animals and also by looking at the universal behaviour of males in all cultures. There is evidence to suggest that at puberty when testosterone peaks the levels in aggression peak too.

Evidence: Kalat: Males in the age group of 15-25 have highest levels of aggression and its when testosterone levels are highest in males.
