Henry VIII

Became king 1485 at aged 22. He was a usuper meaning he took the crown by overthrowing the previous monarch who was Richard III. Won the crown in the battle of Bosworth.

Exilled in Brittany where he lived in court and got an education in court affairs and its inner workings, arguabbly better trained than most princes, due to being treated diffrently. He was a nobel and had academic skills as well. Possibly because of this he was known to wear a "mask of power" to sustain kingship, and learned to be careful in who he trusted or what information he gave out, and learned from his time in France to please people. One of few monarchs who was faithful to his wife, however made sure not to give her relatives any political power, and was not trusting due to Yorkist background.

Took kingship at the battle of Bosworth feild. This was the end to the War…
