What is Growth Hormone?
-Produced by the somatotrophic cells of the anterior pituitary gland and is the under the regulation of:
(1) Hypothalmic releasing hormone: GnRH
(2) Inhibitory hormone: Somatostatin
Regulation: -Gene endoing growth hormone GH1
-Synthesis and secretion of GH are regulated by the hypothalmus
-Releasing and inhibatory hormones
