Energy consumption

Hello, I am Charlotte Cheema, I am a year 11 student from Hewens College, and I am here to discuss a serious issue that is increasing rapidly. We are all aware that fossil fuels are a non-renewable resource which mean, once they are gone, they are gone! If this is the case, why are we still consuming them at such an unsustainable amount? In 2011, 70.3% of our energy was being produce by fossil fuels with only 9.5% being produced by renewable resources. This is shocking, we are completely aware of the issue however we are still continuing to waste these valuable resources instead…
