communicable diseases revision notes
-pathoegens are micro organisums that can cause infectious diseases that can effect both plants and animals.
-communicable means that the disease is infectious/spreadable
-the types of pathoegen are: bacteria,fungi,virus and protist
-to survive bacteria needs warmth,nuetrients and moisture.
-bacteria reproduce every 20 minutes
-toxins released by the bacteria make you feel ill when they damage your cells and tissues
- viruses cannot replicte on their own, they enter normal cells and use them to multiply. when they have created enough copies of themselves…
