Vectors and Scalars:

Mass is a measurement of the amount of matter something contains, weight is the measurement of the pull of gravity on an object.

Scalars have magnitude only where Vectors have magnitude and direction.

Distance refers to how much ground is covered (SCALAR), whereas, displacement refers to how far out of place an object is (VECTOR).

Velocity is speed with direction (VECTOR), speed has no direction (SCALAR).
