Background:
- Investigates how recognisable internal and external features are.
- Argues that Internal features provide more accurate recognition of familiar faces
- But External features aid recognition of unfamiliar faces
- Witnesses describe external features first / best, however they try to recognise familiar faces and rely on internal features to identify them.
