These changes help to provide oxygen and glucose to muscles and removes carbon dioxide quickly.

  • The heart rate can also be altered by hormones such as; adrenaline.
  • This hormone makes the heart rate increase, and respond better to danger.

How much does the Heart Rate Change?

  • To measure your resting heart rate, your pulse rate is taken, this can be taken by either your neck or wrist.
