Animal and Plant Cells

An Animal Cell has:

• Nucleus: Controls what the cell does
• Cytoplasm: Where chemical reactions happen
• Cell Membrane: Holds the cell together
• Mitochondria: Where aerobic respiration happens

A Plant cells has:

• Nucleus
• Cytoplasm
• Cell Membrane
• Mitochondria
• Cell Wall: Supports the cell, made out of cellulose
• Vacuole: Contains cell sap (sugar and salt solution)
• Chloroplasts: Made from chlorophyll which is needed in Photosynthesis.
