Decomposition. 

micororganisms help recycle materials through decompostion

organisms contain elements that need to be retuened to the soil or air so that they can be used up by new plants. these elemnts are returned to the environment as waste products produced by the organisms, or when the organisms die.

 waste products and dead organisms are broken don by decomposers 

the main tyepes of decomposers are bacteria and fungi

factors that affect the rate of decomposition. 

oxygen availability

mainy decomposres need oxygen for aeorbic respiration, so the rate of decomposition increases…
