B2 - Hybrids

HideShow resource information

A hybrid is a cross between two species.

For a hybrid to be made, these two species have to interbreed.

However, hybrids aren't fertile, which technically doesn't make them a species.

(Definition of a species: - a group of organisms which can interbreed to produce fertile offspring).
