Air pollution - acid rain 

acid deposition: 

wet depostion : is type of deposition includes fog, rain + snow, plants + animals are affected as the wet deposition falls to ground 

dry deposition: in dry areas the acid cheimcals may become incorporated into dust/smoke + fall to gorund through dry deposistion, sticking to ground, building ect 

Acid rain: crosses international boundries as its a migrating pollution + is transboundry, gases from power stations in england falls as acid rain in norway 

causes of acid rain: 

natural: erupting volcanoes, rotting vegetation 

anthroprogenic: heavy industry, factories, cars + traffic,

burning fossil fuels = sulphur dioxide SO₂, nitrogen oxides NOx…
