Weather: The current satate of the atmosphere, in regards to temperature cloud cover, wind speed, wind direction, precipitation, humidity... etc.

Climate: The average weather conditions that a region experiences. Climate is averaged over a number of years.

From the sea picks up moisture- Prevailing winds.

For every 100 metres that air rises it cools by 1 degree.

This leads to a lower temperature and more rainfall.

Prevailing Winds

A wind that blows more often in one direction than from any other direction is called prevailing wind. It has a great influence on climate. Different winds carry different aounts of moisture. The moisture carried by a prevailing wind affects the amount of precipitation a region recieves. Winds formed by rising warm air tends to bring precipitation.
