Types of Christians

Its always a good idea to discuss how different Christians will respond to the question as this adds detail and stops you from writing short answers

Roman Catholics

• The Largest group of Christians led by the pope in Rome
• Use ideas from Natural Law to decide what is right and wrong for people
• Believe the bible and church teachings (The Pope) have authority

Fundamentalists

• Groups of Christians who base everything on the Bible
  
• Believe the Bible has the most authority as it is the word of God
  
• Have strong beliefs that god will punish you for disobeying his word
  

Quakers

• A Liberal group of Christian who base ethical decsions on love
  
• Believe in doing to loving or kind thing in all situations
  
• Believe strongly in equality and are pacifists
  

Evangelicals

• Christians who tell the world about Jesus to dave people from Hell
  
• Believe everyone should believe in Jesus so they can go to heaven
  
• Do missionary work to try and convert people to Christianity
