Further example of ratios

This is a more complicated example, and one which is likely to come up in the exam.

2. Divide £1170 in the ratio 2 : 3 : 4

2 + 3 + 4 = 9 -> 1170 / 9 = 130

2 x 130 : 3 x 130 : 4 x 130

= 260 : 390 : 520
