Httpa protocol to transfer hypertext requests and information between servers and browsers.

Https- Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure is an extension of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol but is safer.

FTP- File Transfer Protocol is a standard Internet protocol for transmitting files between computers on the Internet over TCP/ IP connections.

POP- Post Office Protocol is a protocol used to retrieve e-mail from a mail server.

IMAP- the Internet Message Access Protocol is an Internet standard protocol used by email clients to retrieve email messages from a mail server over a TCP/IP connection.

SMTP- Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, a protocol for sending e-mail messages between servers

TCP/IP- Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol, which is a set of networking protocols that allows two or more computers to communicate.

The application layer provides applications with the standardized data exchyanged. Its protocols include the Transfer protocol (HTTP), File Transfer (FTP), Post Office Protocols (POP), Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP)
