Of mice and men.

One of the best characters to look at would be Crooks, you could comment on how he is discriminated by his fellow ranch workers. Furthermore you could discuss how he reacts when Lennie enters his shed and how the shed is filled with junk and broken tools this could indicate that Crooks is like a tool used by everyone to fix things and he has a crooked back (broken tool) .The shed is also described as leaning (broken). Turn your paragraph into a P.E.E.L ( Point- what are you discussing .Evidence- a quote, Explain- Discuss your chosen quote, Language- Discuss the language used) Eg-

Crooks is.................He lives.............He is treated........"quote" this indecates............further more "quote"..........this suggests......................moreover..........................this also suggests................

Remember its all about quality not quantity, but do try to provide a quote to back up your ideas. Hope this helps.
