y=f(x)+a   Verticle translation  (+ve is up, -ve is down)

y=f(x-a)   Horizontal translation  (reverse because its in the bracket)

y=af(x)   Verticle stretch

y=f(ax)   Horizontal stretch  (1 over a!!!)
