There are three types of peripherials :storage devices  input devices  which allow users to give instuctions and input data to the device and output devices allow the user to see or hear information after it has been processed

The most common method of data cable connection is a USB cable . Most Mobile phones and media players can connect by USB cable to a computer running the correct software.
