Metal + acid = Metal salt + hydrogen
Metal + hydrocloric acid = Metal chloride
Metal + sulfuric acid = Metal sulfate
Metal + nitric acid = Metal nitrate
Zinc + nitric acid = zinc nitate + acid

Order Of Reactivity
At the top of the table there are extremly reactive metals. In the middle there is a mix of quite reactive metals and barely reactive metals the lower you go. at the bootum there is no reaction.
