Breast Cancer Causes

  • Age - chances of developing breast cancer increases with age as body becomes less capable of repairing any genetic damage.
  • Family history - genetic mutations.
  • The female hormone Oestrogen  - can stimulate breast cancer cells and cause them to grow.

Bowel Cancer Causes.

  • Previously suffered from Polyps - increased chance.
  • Previously suffered from chronic inflammatory bowel problems - increased chance.
  • Family history - genetic mutation.
  • Age - body less capable of repairing genetic damage.

Testicular Cancer Causes

  • Undescended testicles.
  • Family history - genetic mutation.
  • Endocrine/hormone disrupters.
  • Infertility
  • HIV
  • AIDS

Leukaemia Causes.

  • Blood cells acquire genetic mutations in the DNA
  • Certain abnormalities causes cells to grow and divide more rapidly and continue to live when normal cells die.
  • These abnormal cells can crowd out healthy blood cells in the bone marrow, leading to fewer healthy white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets.
