Movement of particles from high concentration to low concentration.

Average speed of gas particles is 400 m/s.

Example of difussion experiment is: Chromotography.

Differnt colours are attracted to different depths of water so in a chromorography experiment the more soluble colours go straight ot the top e.g yellow.

Molecule - 2 or more atoms CHEMICALLY joined.

Atom - A single atom

Mixture - Different molecules or atoms together but NOT chemically joined.

Elements - Have the same type of atoms.

eg. CA - could have CA + CA+CA still an element
