Atom Structure

Every atom has:

  • Protons, which are positive
  • Electrons, which are negative
  • Neutrons, which are neutral and therefore have no charge.

Electrons are on the outside of the nucleus.

Protons and neutrons are in the neclues

All the mass is in the nucleus, this therefore means electrons are not included in the mass.
