Puberty and Physical Development

GIrls:

  • Have the start of their growth spurt between 10-12 years old.
  • Increase in their vagina size.
  • Menstruation will begin (period).
  • Ovulation will also begin (abilty to release eggs)
  • Breast development.
  • Grow pubic hair.

Boys:

  • Have the start of their growth spurt between 12-15 years old.
  • Increase in testes and penis size.
  • Will have erections.
  • Sperm production will begin.
  • Grow facial hair and pubic hair.
  • Will have voice breaks.

Both will have develop their strength, stamina and coordination.
