Active Transport( In Plants)

Active Transport is a process by which organisms absorb ions from very diltute solutions. The process requires energy from respiration.

In plants:

Essential for their growth. The plant's root hair cell has more concentration of mineral and ions than the soil. Active Transport allows root hair cell to absorb ions despite the fact that the concentration is the wrong way.
