Active Transport( In Plants)
Active Transport is a process by which organisms absorb ions from very diltute solutions. The process requires energy from respiration.
Essential for their growth. The plant's root hair cell has more concentration of mineral and ions than the soil. Active Transport allows root hair cell to absorb ions despite the fact that the concentration is the wrong way.
Active Transport (In human organisms)
In human organisms:
The soluble products of digestion are absorbed from the small intestine and into the blood to be carried direct to the body tissues.
Carried by cappilaries to body tissues.
