Forests
Tropical Rain Forests
TRF are found between the Tropic of Capricorn, and the Tropic of
Cancer.
The largest area is in South America, mainly in Brazil
They can also be found in West Africa, Indonesia, South east Asia,
and Australia
Temperate Coniferous Forests
Can be found between 50oN and the Arctic circle.
They are found in Canada, Northern Europe, and Russia
They are not found in the southern hemisphere because of the lack
of land at the appropriate latitude
Temperate Deciduous Forests
Found between 30o and 60o north of the equator
Found in North America, Europe and Asia
The centre of the continental landmasses are too cold for the
forests in the winter
