	Advantages Boost the economic levels and pring more money into local towns enables local reisdents to sell their items and trade easily with tourists and be tour guides employment rate increases providing people with jobs raises awareness for environment and isolated area allows people to get proper education and the money helps health facilities improve roads and travel routes will be improved so the local residents gain benefit from this and can expand trade routes	Disadvantages encourages urban to rural migration, as the local residents will be exposed to new technology and affect their cultural tradition dies out eventually as they get modernised air and noise pollution caused affecting the wildlife aswell as peoples safety and health foot path erosion, use of the land may go over board and cause trouble to redevelop people may get offended by the tourists as they may think they are idle beings to take pictures with, not all locals may be comfortable with foreign people and be welcoming. construction ruins the landscape as hotels and restaurants will open up for the advantage of the tourists and affect people negatively the money income from the tourists may go to the big retailers aonly and not the locally employed people so the money wont go into the community but abroad to national companies tourism may only be seasonal so people visit at certain times meaning people are jobless and employed at diff times (unstable income)
	Evaluation Tourism in the Andes is both beneficial aswell as negative as it covers various aspects affecting the socioeconomic levels in the area. The economy will benefit from this as the people would have more money than before and help poverty be abolished although the employment may be temporary and create unstable incomes. The tourists may cause development within the region which is good however loses the traditional culture and tourists want that original essence. Constructing hotels etc may affect the landscape aswell as the wildlife as the more people come, the more the environment will be affected and the larger amount of waste produced. Eco tourism should be encouraged for a sustainable future.
