An Inspector Calls

The Birling family are having a nice meal to celebrate the engagement of Sheila and Gerald

The Inspector arrives with the devastating news of Eva's death.

The Inspector begins to ask questions about Eva's death. Mr Birling admits that he knew Eva two years before.

The Inspector quizes Sheila about her playing a part in Eva's death.

Gerald admits to the Inspector that Eva/Daisy was his mistress.

We then discover that Mrs Birling's charity refused to help Sheila when she became pregnant. 

We find out in a dramatic twist of events that Eric Birling is actually the Father of Eva's child after forcing himself upon her. 

Eric then admits to stealing money from his Fathers own company. This in turn start to cause another argument. 

The Inspector leaves the Birling's home leaving them in a state of shock. 

The family decide to ring the infirmary and also the police constable to clear up the mess they have been left in.

The play closes on a cliff hanger after receiving a call from the police about a young girls suicide.
