        • 1 in 20 people work in jobs related to tourists
        • Tourism helps improve the image of the UK around the world
        • Increase in visitors to museums,gallaries etc
          • Means they make money and can be kept open
        • Places are maintained and kept opened due to money from tourists.

        • What affects the tourist numbers?
          • Exchange rates.
            • When they convert their money to pounds
              • If their currency is strong they will get pounds

            • Nobody will want to visit
              • Especially to the coast
