    • Tissues
      • Definition:  Tissues are cells with similar structures and functions that are massed together.
      • Examples of Tissues:
        • Animal Tissue: Blood transports substances around the body and defends against disease
        • Spongy Mesophyll: Phosythesis
        • Eperdermis: Protects against water loss and may be involved in the absorption of water and ions
    • Organs
      • Definition: Tissues then combine to form Organs , a complex structure with a particular function
      • Examples of  Organs
        • Small Intestine
        • Plant Stem
        • Plant roots and leaves
    • Definition of a system: An organ system is a group of organs that perform a particular function
