- Believed alcohol created major health and safety issues in the workplace.
- Also believed alcohol reduced the work rate and efficiency of employees.
- Women
- Believed alcohol caused domestic violence and child abuse
- They were in charge of home purvhases but men were spending all the money they made working when drinking in saloons
- Women weren't allowed in most saloons
- Patriotic/Conservative WASPs
- Opposed
