- The first cause argument is a argument for the existence of god.
- It works on the basis that, something must have created the universe, it cant have been by chance.
- This thing has to be god.
- Some people believe this as they have nothing to believe in.
- This is because they have nothing else to believe in as no theory has been proved on the creation of the universe.
