    • Human Sexuality
      • Heterosexual relationships
        • Marriage in the only valid place for heterosexual
        • Christians are against faithfulness
        • Heterosexual is the norm in Islam Muslims are expected to marry and have a family
        • Only form of sexual relationships are expected is that between a Husband and Wife
      • Homosexual relatioships
        • Some Christian oppose of Homosexual relationship
        • Most Muslims would believe that Homosexual relationship is forbidden
        • Catholic Churches and Some Muslims  believe that homosexual are not sinful if they are chaste and they will have to answer God on the day of Judgement
        • Liberal Christians and Some Muslims would say that it is acceptable if it is a committed relationship The COE welcome homosexuals
    • Sexual relationship before and outside of marriage
      • Before marriage
        • It should on be in marriage so it is wrong =sexual Immorality
        • Some would accept if the couple were intending to marry
        • Sex is a gift of God and should be managed responsibility within marraiage
        • It is forbidden sex before Marriage
      • Outside Marriage
        • Adultery break vow Christian couples make before God and threatens the Stable Relationship needed for the child
        • It is against Jesus teaching that lust can lead to adultery is wrong
        • Should avoid situations that could lead to sexuality
        • The Quran forbids adultery
    • Contraception
      • Catholics and Orthodox goes against the natural law of marriage and purpose of sex is to have children
      • Anglican and Non-Conformist people should have many children as they want + it avoids harming the mothers health
      • Contraception is not for unmarried people,but may be used for family planning.
      • It is acceptable is it doesn't prevent the couple having Children all together.
      • Some would say that it isn't acceptable because it goes against God will.God has given us the strength to have Children
    • Marriage
      • It is a gift from God and part of the natural law.It is a sacrament. It a covenant before God.Shows the spiritual bond of trust.
      • It is a faithful,lifelong commitment intended by God.It bring the two families together  it also avoids people committing Sexual Sin
      • It provides a stable,secure environment  for children
      • Force marriage is not allowed
      • it is the proper place to have sex.
      • Cohabitation
        • Catholics and Muslims would oppose to Cohabitation because it would be tempting for the couple to have sex.
        • How ever some  liberal Christian would say that it is acceptable if they are in a committed relationship. It may be the most loving thing to do.
      • Same-sex
        • Christian were opposed to legalising  same-sex because it goes against the nature of family. and Islam forbids homosexual relationship
        • the Law protects the churches that do not want to conduct same sex marriage.
    • Divorce and remarriage
      • Jesus taught that anyone that divorces commits adultery
        • Because  it breaks the vows that couple made in front of God
      • Marriage is a sacrament
      • Catholics can separate but cannot remarry while their partner is alive
      • Divorce may be the lesser of two evils.
      • Some liberal Christians would allow divorce and remarriage as long as the vows are taken seriously
      • Encourages that couples try to reconcile their differences
      • Husband must let the wife know by writing or verbally.
      • wife can apply for divorce but will have to repay the marriage gifts
      • The husband must support the children
      • Muslims can remarry if they have children to look after
    • The nature of families
      • Role of the parents
        • Christian should raise their children in faith. Teaching them what is right
        • Muslims parents should bring their children up in the faith of Islam.and should support them by finding a suitable marriage partner
      • Should live in extended families
      • It is in a family that a child must learn how to love
      • Must look after the elderly
      • Extended family Is the norm
      • Family must shape the moral values and behaviour of the Children
      • Must care for the elderly with kindness and respect
      • Polygamy
        • It is not accepted in Christianity because God made humans in pairs
        • It is accepted in Islam as long the husband treats all of them equally
      • Same-sex parents
        • Not accepted by some Christian and Muslims because it would be a bad role model for kids
        • Some liberal Christian would accept as long as it is a secure loving family
    • The purpose of families
      • Should provide stability
      • God and Jesus are family so Christian should also be that same
      • Guarded and protected
      • Must care for the elderly
      • Parents and children both have the responsibility to look after each other
      • Children are gift from God
      • Parents are meant to be good role models
      • Have the duty to respect their parents
      • Duty to provide for their children
      • Send children to faith schools
    • Religious attitudes to Gender inequality
      • The Sex Discrimination Act (1975)
      • All people are treated equal in the image of God
      • Jesus respected Women and showed that they were more than capable
      • However some would see that husbands are the ones that have control
      • God made all people equal from a single soul
      • Muhammad worked to unite tribes equality
      • Men and Women have the same religious and moral rresponsibility
