      • Couldn't agree, all came from different backgrounds
    • Kornilov affair made people realise how ineffective prov govt was
      • Solved by Bolsheviks
    • People wanted constituent assembly elections
      • Kerensky wanted to delay these
        • accused of wanting power all to himself
    • Peasant soldiers wanted to come back from war to take land back
      • Prov gvt said that they must go back to war and ownership would be decided after elections
        • Lost peasant support which meant they hoarded grain
