- Mathematics
- Probability
- Fractions, decimals and percentages
- Decimals
- I know I havent explained this very well, use this
- Percentages
- When we use percentages, everything should add up to 100%
- For example, if I scored 85% in a test, I would have got 15% wrong
- Fractions
- If I got 7/10 in a test, I would write 7 10 (with a line in between the two)
- We write the total as the denominator (the bottom) and the outcome as the numerator (the top)
- Converting
- Decimals
- If we had 0.1, it would be 1/10 as 01 is one tenth and 1/10 is one tenth.
- If we had 0.2 we could convert it to 20% as we multiply the decimal by 100 (as all percentages add up to that)
- Fractions
- Same as decimals but vice versa for converting decimal
- If we wanted to convert to percentage, divide the top of the fraction by the bottom and then multiply by 100
- Decimals
- Decimals
- Handing data
- Averages
- Mode
- When you find the number that appears the most in a set of numbers
- Mean
- When you add all the values together and divide the total by the number of values you have
- Median
- When you write all the numbers in ascending order and find the middle number, if there is more than 1 number you and add them together and divide how many there are to find the middle
- Mode
- Pie charts
- Use the link, I can't insert pie charts here
- Frequency
- Bar charts
- Averages
