    • Dolton- Believed solid sphere made up of different elements
      • Thompson- Plum Pudding Model (solid sphere contained small negatively charged particles- electrons)
        • Rutherford- Plum pudding model was wrong
          • Gold Foil Experiment (expected particles to deflect yet most passed through and the odd one deflected)
            • Came up with 'Nuclear Atom' with positive nucleus and electrons in solid sphere
              • Bohr Model- discovered Rutherford theory would collapse in as positive nucleus would be attracted to electrons
                • Bohr Model- Discovered electrons were in fixed orbits around nucleus with fixed energy
